Tom has been an endurance athlete for more than 30 years. As such, he has competed in a variety of races and race conditions including road & trail races, 24 hour races, adventure races, canoe/kayak racing and, of course, triathlons. He has enjoyed plenty of success (and a few failures) along the way with multiple Ironman finishes, several Boston qualifications and podium spots as well. As a coach, he believes everyone has it in them to accomplish any goal they set their mind to and it’s my job to help guide them there. He enjoys coaching new athletes to the sport and watching them grow. He also coaches long time competitors who are looking to break plateaus or set new records for themselves. Mostly, he enjoys sharing the knowledge he has gained through years of educating himself on all aspects of sports – swim, run, bike, strength, nutrition and the mental game.

“I attended the Pre Race clinic and it was awesome. I am a beginner Triathlete and this past Sunday was my first race and now I am hooked. Planning to do the July 4 Race at Tradewinds Park. The Coach taught me so many tips and clues about the upcoming race the next day Sunday. Her talk was designed in easy way to understand. She is a great asset to your company. She taught us the rules and regulations. Out there on the course so many penalties I noticed that it made me want to become an official and continue doing the triathlons and keep the sport legal and enjoyable. I will continue doing triathlons. Thank you again for a great first time experience.” – Beginner Triathlete
