Race Day Schedule
*Please add 15 minutes to all times for the October race due to the late sunrise.
- 5:30-6:30 am – Late Packet Pickup & Bike Check-In
- 7:15 am – Transition Closes
- 7:15 am – International Races Begin
- 7:25 am – Duathlon Begins
- 7:30 am – Sprint Triathlon and Sprint Aquabike Begin
- 10:00 am – Transition Security Ends (Please get your bike before the awards ceremony)
Arriving after 6:30 will cause you to miss the race.
Cutoff Times:
- 8:30 am – International 1/2 way bike cutoff**
- 9:45 am – International 1/2 way run cutoff**
**Complete the first lap by this time or be directed to the finish. You may still complete the race, but will be disqualified in the results.
There is a 3 hour time limit for the entire course. You need to be able to swim a ½ mile in 20 minutes, bike 15 mph average for 20 miles, and run a 12.5 minute mile average for 6.5 miles to complete the International Distance. If you are faster on the bike, then you have more time for the run. If you cannot average the stated pace/speed, then please join us for the Sprint Distance Triathlon.

- 9:25 am – Aquabike Awards
- 9:30 am – Sprint Duathlon Awards*
- 9:40 am – Sprint Triathlon Awards*
- 10:00 am – International Triathlon Awards*
PER USAT RULES – ALL TRIATHLETES & DUATHLETES MUST PICK UP THEIR OWN PACKET – NO EXCEPTIONS. Please bring your receipt from online registration. All triathletes & duathletes must present their annual USAT license at packet pickup along with a photo ID.
Early Packet Pickup
When:
Saturday before each race, 9:30 am to 12 noon

North Beach Park, Fort De Soto Park

We strongly suggest participants pick up their packets on Saturday as Sunday there will be long lines and limited packet pickup race morning.
Everyone must pay for parking. The easiest way is to download the ParkMobile app on your phone but you can also pay at the kiosk at the park.
PLEASE NOTE: You must retrieve all of your belongings quickly after finishing the race and BEFORE the awards ceremony. The transition area is broken down in a timely manner and not secured once cleanup has started.
